Theme of the next PCNS Passive Components Networking Symposium 11-14th September 2023 in Sønderborg, Denmark is focusing power conversion challenges and its consequences to passive electronic components.
The event will be held on September 11th to 14th 2023 in Denmark hosted by SDU University of Southern Denmark, Sønderborg. The fourth PCNS is organised as live event. With the financial support from the Fabrikant Mads Clausen (FMC) Foundation, PCNS cover students’ and PhD students’ fee to support knowledge transfer between generations.
4th PCNS program includes 27 speeches from EU and USA. The papers’ scope submitted by passive manufacturers, universities, material suppliers, space agencies and end users include capacitors, resistors, inductors and inter-connection in areas of aerospace, automotive or industrial. Topics are covering reliability, qualification, new materials & technologies and research.
The Conference Theme:
New Passive Components Technologies for Efficient Power Conversion
are elaborated in conference paper selections, Workshop and Hot Topic Panel Discussion topics.
Workshop on Monday 11th Sept in part I. will introduce in depth discussion on new passive technologies and requirements by Thomas Ebel; SDU and Nicklas Christensen; Danfoss Drive. Part II. of the workshop by Didier Balocco, onsemi and Frank Puhane, Würth Elektronik will elaborate real case study of 25kW SiC EV charger power converter design architecture and selection of chokes & capacitors to fit it needs.
As an unique for 2023 PCNS will be a scheduled tour through Danfoss Drive factory as part of the main conference that may be of interest to its attendees.
And of course, we will have a room for pleasant networking to meet old mates and new friends during the Welcome Drink and Gala Dinner social events.
With the financial support from the FMC Foundation, PCNS cover students’ and PhD students’ fee.
