Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has introduced the LQH3NPN_ME and LQH3NPZ_ME series of 1212 size wound-type power inductors, featuring higher rated current and lower DC resistance levels as compared to the company’s previous inductors. The LQH3NPN_ME and LQH3NPZ_ME are designed to be incorporated into consumer products and automotive information devices.
Background
As the electrification of automobiles advances, there is a growing demand for small inductors with high rated current levels for use in car navigation, car audio and other automotive information devices, just as it is increasing in consumer products, such as smartphones.
To respond to this demand, Murata has introduced the LQH3NPN_ME and LQH3NPZ_ME series of 1212 size (height: 1.5 mm) wound-type power inductors with even higher rated current levels than the company’s previous inductors. These new components are designed to be incorporated into consumer products and automotive information devices.
Features
Higher rated current and lower DC resistance levels than the company’s previous LQH3NP_M0 and LQH3NP_MR series
Line-up of models with inductance values ranging from 1 µH to 100 µH
Applications
Power inductors for automotive information devices, such as car navigation units and car audio products
