The European Space Agency (ESA), the French National Space Center (CNES), the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and the European Space Components Coordination (ESCC) are glad to announce the 2nd edition of the International Symposium : Space Passive Component Days (SPCD).

The 2nd SPCD will be held from 12th to 14th October 2016 at ESA/ESTEC, Noordwijk, The Netherlands.

The SPCD international Symposium is the premier European technical conference and exhibition dedicated to Passive components for space applications.

Aim of the symposium is to promote the discussion of recent developments, needs and trends and to encourage the exchange of technical expertise and information covering a broad range of EEE passive components for space applications:
Capacitors, Resistors, Relays, Switches, Crystals, Oscillators, Connectors, Wires, Cable assemblies, Magnetics, Fuses, Thermal sensors, Heaters, Piezo element, and RF Passives : Circulators, Isolators, Connectors, Cable assemblies, power Dividers, Combiners, Filters, etc,

The first announcement including the symposium content is enclosed. The second announcement and call for papers brochure will be posted early January.

The first edition of the SPCD International symposium in 2013 was a success. Over 250 participants from 15 different countries joined the conference. We are looking forward to meet you in 2016 in ESA’s facilities in the Netherlands for the second edition of this high profile symposium.
