The Space Components Steering Board of the European Space Components Coordination (ESCC) has the pleasure to announce the European Space Components Conference ESCCON 2019 that will take place on March 11-13 at ESA/ESTEC.

With the organisation of ESCCON 2019, ESCC is ready to provide again the context of this Conference in order to support cooperation and discussion on the most relevant topics related to EEE components for space systems. The conference is therefore an international forum and is open to all specialists involved in the development, selection, procurement and use of EEE (Electrical, Electronic and Electromechanical) components in space systems.

Invited speakers will make presentations at ESCCON 2019. Discussions will address areas such as standardisation, new technology insertion and validation test methods, harmonisation of needs, investments and funding, availability and sustainability based on project lifecycle, industrial experience and expectations for future evolution. ESCCON 2019 will pay special attention to recent developments in relation to New Space.

The presentations and discussions at ESCCON will have effects on: R+D developments, manufacturer’s roadmaps, new technologies insertion, investment decisions, space project requirements for EEE component and related Quality Assurance practices, standards evolution and development and various public agencies’ activities and actions aimed at the support of European component manufacturers and users.

More information on ESCC can be found at its website https://escies.org
