The European Space Agency (ESA), the French National Space Center (CNES), the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and the European Space Components Coordination (ESCC) are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the 2nd edition of the International Symposium : Space Passive Component Days (SPCD).
EPCI is pleased to announce that it will held a seminar on Capacitor Technologies as a part of the SPCD event. The Seminar will be organised one day prior the main conference and it is free of charge for the SPCD attendees.
The 2nd SPCD will be held from 12th to 14th October 2016 at ESA/ESTEC, Noordwijk, The Netherlands.
The SPCD international Symposium is the premier European technical conference and exhibition dedicated to Passive components for space applications.
It is an exceptional venue to learn more about the latest advances in this field and meet recognized experts from industry, academia and agencies.
Aim of the SPCD symposium is to promote the discussion of recent developments and trends and to encourage the exchange of technical expertise and information covering a broad range of EEE passive components for space applications
We are pleased to announce that the online abstract submission form is now available. In order to submit your abstract, please use this form. The deadline for abstract submission is 18 March 2016.
Technical Introduction of Manufacturers
In addition to the technical papers, the SPCD symposium will provide the opportunity for manufacturers to present themselves and their products through Technical Introduction of Manufacturers (TIMs).
Companies are invited to propose displays of their products during the symposium. To apply for a stand, please complete the following form. Each submission will be reviewed by the organising committee. The final selection of exhibitors will be communicated in due course.
Pre-conference-events & ESA/ESTEC site Tour
Several workshops are organized one day before the conference on the 11th of October 2016. SPCD attendees can attend these workshops for free.Participation is open for SPCD attendees without any fees or restrictions. Advance registration is mandatory, SPCD conference participants are invited to book for these sessions beforehand.
In addition, an ESA/ESTEC site visit will be organised on the 11th of October Pre-registration through the online registration form is mandatory and limited to 30 participants.
The first edition of the SPCD International symposium in 2013 was a success. Over 250 participants from 15 different countries joined the conference. We are looking forward to meet you in 2016 in ESA’s facilities in the Netherlands for the second edition of this high profile symposium.
