Reiner W. Kühl, recognized industry expert in the field of professional film resistors, based in Friedrichstadt, Germany is joining the European Passive Component Institute team as the External Co-Operator.
Reiner has more than 40 years of experience in resistors design, manufacturing process technologies, and quality. He has become recognized industry expert and author of a number of technical papers about thin film resistors’ properties, components’ reliability & failure analysis, surface mount technology, whisker mitigation, and leadfree soldering with special focus on professional applications, e.g. automotive, aerospace, or industry. Reiner is currently collaborating as a supporting external expert on components’ reliability in automotive research project with Fraunhofer IZM.
“Helping to develop and preserve knowledge and expertise of European passive components industries as well as improvement of their economical basis in market is my motivation to support the EPCI”, said Reiner W. Kuehl.
