March 14, 2016 – Available in low- and medium-voltage models, Dry-Type Transformers range from 1 kVa to 15 mVa, through 35 kV, with air, iron-core, and current limiting reactors. Copper and aluminum materials are offered, along with Magna-Seal insulation for severe environments. Standard 18-pulse autotransformers are available to 800 hp for harmonic suppression. Supplied in open type and NEMA enclosed versions, transformers are suited for motor drives, rectifiers, data centers, and utility distribution.
Schaffner low and medium voltage dry-type transformers which meet IEEE 519, MIL specs (including Navy 400Hz) in standard designs through application engineered to customer specification, are now available through the Rockwell Encompass Partner program. Products range from 1kva to 15mva, through 35kv, with air, iron-core, and current limiting reactors, rectifier duty, excitation, and multiple primary/secondary winding solutions. Copper and aluminum materials offered, along with Magna-Seal insulation for severe environments. Open type and NEMA enclosed. Standard 18-pulse autotransformers available to 800 HP for harmonic suppression, or custom multipulse autotransformers to customer spec. Ideal for a wide variety of applications including rail – rolling stock and wayside power, motor drives, rectifier, data centers, solar, wind turbines, utility distribution, and more.
In addition to a wide range of standard and custom designed inductors, reactors and transformers, Schaffner also offers in-plant or on-site rewinding of virtually any brand or type of transformer.
