Applications for current sensing resistors often require low resistance values for better sensing efficiency. In the past, engineers were forced to design in an all-metal shunt resistor that was overkill in terms of electrical performance and cost.
Stackpole introduced its CSRF Series to provide engineers with an option that met the design requirements without adding excessive cost to the design. The AEC compliant CSRF has excellent long-term reliability and shows improved environmental and electrical performance compared to thick film sensing options.
