Electronics Supply Chain Weekly Digest 7-17-26.

DATAPOINT OF THE WEEK: US EV sales fell 27.8% Y/Y to 75K units in June, dropping EV share of total new-vehicle sales to 5.4%, per Cox Automotive. Average EV transaction prices rose 3.5% M/M to $56.2K even as sales collapsed at lower-priced brands including Hyundai and Chevrolet, while Tesla held roughly 54% share.

Separately, new-vehicle affordability slipped slightly as average transaction price rose 0.4% M/M to $49.8K. Inventory (days’ supply) rose to 80 in June from 78 in May as sales pace slowed 5% M/M, with Toyota, Lexus, and Honda entering July with the tightest supply while Stellantis brands, Jeep especially, continue working through elevated stock.
