Murata factory operations normalize in China

Due to the recent outbreak of the coronavirus, many factories in China have suffered supply issues. Murata`s situation has recently begun to improve with normal operations expected this week from three of our major factories.

Coronavirus has had significant impact on the local communities in China and Murata would like to express their deepest condolences to those who have been affected. In collaboration with the local authorities Murata has ensured that thorough measures have been put in place to minimize the risk of infection. This includes steps such as the wearing of masks and maintaining high levels of hygiene at all times throughout the workplace.

In support of our local communities

Murata factory teams have been doing their best to support the local communities and reduce the spread of the virus. In support of efforts to contain the outbreak, Murata has provided numerous donations to the Wuxi local government including 20,000 masks and 300 protective suits. Murata will continue to work with local authorities and community to find ways to reduce any further spread of the virus.
