Influence of Temperature to Inductor Saturation Current

Lorandt, Würth Elektronik explains the temperature dependence of inductor saturation current in an example of a power inductor.

First he uses the permeability vs. temperature chart, and explains the correlation to the initial inductance value. Furthermore, the difference from sintered materials like nickel zinc and manganese zinc are shown, but also from power materials and iron alloys use in WE-MAPI and WE-LHMI are shown.
