Bourns Releases High Surge 2220 SMD Multilayer Varistor

Bourns is delighted to unveil the Model ZV50S2220452NIR1, a high-surge multilayer varistor that provides exceptional protection over a wide temperature range of -55 to +125 °C.

This varistor, with approximately five times higher surge current capability compared to a standard multilayer varistor of the same case size (2220), is specifically designed for circuit board applications in harsh environmental conditions.

The ZV50S2220452NIR1 is available with a rated voltage of U50 Vrms and a surge current capability of 4500 A, packaged in a 2220 SMD package.
