Stackpole’s NWW non-inductive wirewound resistor series suitable for applications requiring low inductance.
Although inductance can never be fully eliminated in a wirewound resistor, the Ayrton-Perry winding technique reduces the inductance by up to 5 times that of a standard wirewound resistor, making this technology usable in high frequency and high switching applications.
The low inductance series is available in power ratings ranging from ½ watt up to 10W, making the NWW suitable for a range of power supply, control and automation, welding equipment, plasma cutters, elevators and escalators and aerospace instrumentation.
Pricing depends on size, tolerance, and resistance value.
