Stackpole CSRF2010 now offers a 1W power ratings and resistance values down to 2 milliohm in 200 ppm TCR or better.

Applications for current sensing resistors often require low resistance values for better sensing efficiency. In the past, engineers were forced to design in an all-metal shunt resistor that was overkill in terms of electrical performance and cost.

Stackpole introduced its CSRF Series to provide engineers with an option that met the design requirements without adding excessive cost to the design. The AEC compliant CSRF has excellent long-term reliability and shows improved environmental and electrical performance compared to thick film sensing options.

The CSRF is ideal for applications including portable handheld electronics, motor control, battery management, audio equipment, industrial and automotive controls, and instrumentation.

Features:

  • High power rating
  • Wide resistance range
  • Current handling up to 26 amps
  • TCR down to ± 50 ppm/C
  • Other resistance values may be available
  • 100% RoHS compliant and lead free without exemption
  • Halogen free
  • REACH compliant

Applications:

  • portable handheld electronics
  • motor control
  • battery management
  • audio equipment
  • industrial and automotive controls
  • instrumentation.
