Enabling RF and mmWave Design Success with Advanced Models

Date: Tuesday, March 18, 2025

Time: 06:00 ET / 11:00 GMT / 12:00 CET / 15:00 GST

Traditionally, measured S-parameter data files in the RF and mmWave industry have been the most commonly available “model” to represent passive devices as well as active devices in some cases. However, S-parameters are not accurate enough when designing active devices in which noise and nonlinearity behavior are critical. Fortunately, Modelithics’ highly accurate models with advanced model features enable designers to overcome common shortcomings and accelerate design success.

Designers who rely on Modelithics’ advanced models report design successes by utilizing the wide selection of highly scalable models for passive components, as well as noise and nonlinear models for active devices. All of these models are available in the Modelithics COMPLETE Library. In addition, designers can simulate coupling effects that may occur between closely spaced components and between components and their surrounding environment by using Modelithics 3D EM models combined with the the full-wave Cadence Clarity 3D Solver’s electromagnetic simulation.

Join us for this webinar to learn how to use Modelithics’ advanced models in conjunction with Cadence Microwave Office and Clarity solutions. These tools make it possible to achieve first-pass design success and lower design costs.

Speakers:

Andrew Wallace, Sr Account Technical Executive, Cadence

Chris DeMartino, Applications Engineer, Modelithics
