Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd., has released the MDH6045C/MDH10060C series of highly reliable winding power inductors suited for automotive electronic equipment. Mass production of this new product began in November 2016.

From the standpoint of specifications for automotive electronic equipment for powertrains and ADAS*1 , greater reliability than that of general consumer appliances such as mobile phones is required for inductors and other components. This is why Murata has improved on the external electrode structure of this product to achieve outstanding vibration resistance characteristics and operation up to a maximum operating temperature of 150°C.
