Maximizing RF Board Accuracy with 3D EM and Scalable SMD Circuit Models

The NEW Modelithics COMPLETE+3D Library for Keysight ADS and RFPro incorporates the EM accuracy of 3D components such as SMD inductors and capacitors. Together with RFPro’s automatic EM parameterization of substrate etching, dielectric thickness and material properties, RF designers can now efficiently predict the performance impact of manufacturing tolerances and actual purchasable parts with the highest accuracy possible.

Unlike traditional 3DEM models, the 3D library parts for Keysight ADS also has switchable circuit views for circuit simulation. This enables speedy initial design and optimization with circuit simulators, followed by accurate 3DEM simulation to finalize the design for hardware fabrication. This webinar will demonstrate how to achieve the highest accuracy in RF Board simulation with 3D EM and scalable circuit models.

Chris DeMartino, Applications Engineer Chris DeMartino is an Applications Engineer at Modelithics. Prior to working at Modelithics, he spent time at several other companies developing and testing RF/microwave components and assemblies for various applications. In addition, Chris spent several years working as a technical editor for an industry publication. Chris has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the State University of New York at Binghamton and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic University (now NYU Tandon School of Engineering)
