Bourns Releases LAN 100Base-TX Ethernet Transformer

Bourns Magnetics Product Line is pleased to introduce an additional LAN Transformer, the Model SM91078L.

This single-port 100Base-TX Ethernet Isolation Transformer module includes common mode chokes for noise rejection in Ethernet applications.

The Model SM91078L is designed to meet 100Base-TX Ethernet communication with basic insulation, offers 4000 VAC isolation voltage, and has an expanded operating temperature range of -40 to +105 °C.

  • Designed to meet 100Base-TX Ethernet requirements
  • HI-POT (1 mA, 60 sec.): 4000 VAC
  • Basic insulation per IEC 62368-1 standards
  • 1500 VDC working voltage
  • Creepage distance 8 mm minimum, pollution degree 2 material group CTI I
  • Clearance distance 8 mm minimum, Overvoltage Category III, up to 4 km at sea level
  • Expanded temperature range: -40 to +105 °C
  • RoHS compliant
