Samsung Electro-Mechanics has launched a new automotive grade 100nF 250V 0805 MLCC ideal for the MHEV (Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle) and HEV (Hybrid Electric Vehicle) Inverter markets.

The new MLCC ceramic capacitor CL21Z104KEY6PJ# in 0805 inch [2.0 × 1.2mm] case, X7T temperature dielectric class [–55 to 125 °C] provides capacitance of 100nF at 250V voltage ratings.

As the requirements regarding the reliability and stability for automotive electronics systems increase, so do the demands for high-reliability MLCCs which support a stable operation even in high-temperature and high-voltage environments.

This product meets AEC-Q200 standards and contributes to an enhanced system reliability.

Application Guide > Automotive > Inverter(MHEV, HEV)

The usage of snubber capacitors for the suppression of transients and the mitigation of EMI was once optional under high-speed, high-voltage power-electronics systems.

However, it is now shifting into a necessity. In response, we are expanding and supplying our line-up of 0805 inch, 250 V, X7* products, which enable an efficient control of transient responses and contribute to the miniaturization of the sets.
