Bourns® introduced PF-SRC50E fuse series offering a compact high-voltage protection solution that complies with UL 248-13 and IEC 60269-4 (aR class) standards for safety and reliability.

Bourns, Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of electronic components for power, protection, and sensing solutions, today announced that it continues to expand its industry-leading POWrFuse™ High-Power Fuses with the new PF-SRC50E Series.

Bourns Releases High Clearance Transformer for Isolated DC/DC Supplies

Designed to protect today’s more sensitive power semiconductors, this new fuse series features 500 VDC and 690 VAC-rated voltage with an interrupting rating of up to 100 kA. Delivering higher voltage protection support in a compact footprint (17.5 mm dia. x 46 mm L), these new fuses are superior circuit protection solutions for power inverters, converters, rectifiers, AC/DC drives, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) and reduced voltage motor starters.

The PF-SRC50E Series is engineered to meet the requirements of UL 248-13 and IEC 60269-4 (aR class) standards, ensuring dependable protection and safe operation in high-voltage AC and DC systems. Bourns® POWrFuse™ High-Power Fuses are designed to minimize power loss, thereby enhancing overall system efficiency.

Housed in a compact form factor, they address the challenges of space-constrained designs while offering robust performance under high-voltage and high-interrupting current conditions in industrial and other high-power electronic applications. Additionally, the PF-SRC50E Series is offered in a bolt-down package, simplifying installation and providing greater convenience for designers.

The Bourns® PF-SRC50E Series POWrFuse™ High-Power Fuses are available now through Bourns’ authorized distribution partners and are RoHS compliant and halogen free.
