Two Students of Passive Components Honoured with the EPCIA Student Award

At the last formal EPCIA meeting in Frankfurt am Main, on April 9th2019, Christophe Pottier-working at Murata Europe B.V. in a VP Sales position was elected unanimously Vice President of EPCIA (European Passive Components Industry Association). He succeeds Reinhard Sperlich, also working at Murata, who retired end of April 2019.

Christophe Pottier will pursue enhancement of EPCIA leadership as well as expansion of EPCIA scope especially with Technological Research Institutes. Ralph Bronold, President of EPCIA expressed his sincere appreciation and gratitude to Reinhard Sperlich for all the efforts over the past years.

In his function as the EPCIA Vice President but also as the EPCIA representative in the EECA Board Reinhard Sperlich has strongly supported the interests of the association with great success over many years.

“We personally wish him and his successor Christophe Pottier all the best for their future”, said Bronold.

Under the umbrella of EECA (European Electronic Components Manufacturers Association) EPCIA represents a range of major passive components manufacturers, E&E associations and a Technological Research Institute being active in Europe. For many years already EPCIA is the most important association on a European level, representing the various interests of its members.

The EPCIA board will continue to form EPCIA as the major platform for all participants in the European Passive Components Industry market.
