Frenetic CEO Dr. Chema Molina is introducing new CTO of Magnetics at Frenetic. Dr. Jonas Mühlethaler.
Today, I am honoured to introduce you to our new CTO of Magnetics at Frenetic. Dr. Jonas Mühlethaler, from Switzerland. Most of you know him because he was the founder of Gecko Magnetics with a group of colleagues of ETH at Zurich and because of his publications about Winding Losses for Magnetics.
We started collaborating with Jonas as an external advisor a few months ago. He loved our mission, and now he has become our CTO of Magnetics. During this time, he has led the development of a new Frenetic Model of AC losses, which provides a much faster and more accurate response than FEM simulation of the winding losses. He will now support Frenetic in our development as reference for Magnetics design.
The goal of every entrepreneur is to find people better than him, aligned with his mission, and convince them to join his company. Simple, right? You call the experts in your industry and ask them to work in your company, and they come. Unfortunately, this is not happening.
Finding talent is one of the most complex tasks of a CEO. Companies are born powerless, brandless, naked, and without a home. Few people are interested in joining your company because there isn´t a solid future.
Creating a solid team to build a great company takes time. In my case, it took me two years to build a basic team that allowed us to create the first version of Frenetic Online and sign the first relevant contract.
Teams evolve, and some great initial employees are still at Frenetic, rocking the game daily, like Lucas Nicieza and Miguel Angel de La Fuente. We have reached millions (in plural) of revenues with our effort.
However, finding more experienced players takes more time, and this year I’m experiencing this feeling of World Top talent coming to Frenetic. First, we hired Ivan Taboga, an experienced CFO with an Italian accent. Then, last week I introduced you to Jonathan Church, a Frenetic customer who is now the Director of Products at Frenetic.
