KOA Increases Rated Power of its Pulse/Surge Chip Resistors

29.7.2024
Reading Time: 2 mins read
A A

KOA significantly expanded rated power of its pulse/surge resistant chip resistors.

KOA’s pulse load resistant chip resistors SG73P and surge-resistant anti-sulphur chip resistors SG73S have expanded the rated power based on the revised terminal part temperature specifications.

The higher rated power of all sizes from 0402 inch to 1210 inch has been increased, such as guaranteeing the rated power of 0.75 W for the 00805-inch size.

The category power enables high power application even at high temperatures, which leads the 0805-inch size to be applied up to 0.375 W at 155°C.

The rated power is higher than that of general-purpose SMD chip resistors (RK73 series), which contributes to miniaturization of circuits and reduction of the number of products. AEC-Q200 Tested. Applications: Car electronics, power supply, industrial equipment, etc.
