Quantic Paktron Extends Ratings of MLP Film Capacitors up to 1200V for Wide Gap Semiconductors

Quantic Paktron announced extension of its stacked, MLP Multilayer Polymer Film Capacitors up to 1000VDC and 1200VDC.

The new cutting-edge components are specifically designed for wide bandgap semiconductor applications, offering superior performance in power electronics, renewable energy systems, electric vehicle powertrains, and industrial motor drives.

The new capacitors feature a stacked multilayer construction that provides unique advantages over conventional wound film capacitors, including higher frequency operation, ultra-low ESR and ESL, and high dV/dT capabilities.

The new released types include 4pin DIP lead 1200 VDC/630 VAC 0.47uF capacitor in 29x14x27mm and 1000 VDC/500 VAC 29x9x27mm types with ESR below 33mOhm and max ripple current up to 14.2A@500kHz and 85C.
