Bourns Releases Semi-shielded Power Inductors

Bourns Magnetics Product Line is introducing the new model SRN3015C series semi-shielded power inductor.

Constructed with a magnetic-silica coating to the perimeter of the inductor winding to provide effective shielding, these inductors release lower magnetic field radiation compared to non-shielded inductors.

These new semi-shielded inductors are lower priced than typical comparably-sized conventional ferrite shielded inductors.

The Model SRN3015C Series has an operating temperature range from -55 to +125°C that is well suited for DC-DC converters and power supplies in consumer, industrial and telecom applications.

The Model SRN3015C Series can be the alternate selection to the Model SRN3015 Semi-shielded Inductor Series. Note the form, fit and function of the alternate inductors are not identical to the Model SRN3015 inductors. However, the specifications of the Model SRN3015C are likely to be substitutable for typical applications of the Model SRN3015 Series. As with any alternative replacements, we highly recommend that customers test the possible alternative in their specific applications for verification of satisfactory performance.
