Samsung Electro-Mechanics Releases 165C Automotive 0806 Size Power Inductors

Samsung Electro-Mechanics has developed compact, high-reliability, high temperature 165C power SMD inductors for applications like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and IVI (In-Vehicle Infotainment).

These inductors meet high-current and high-efficiency requirements while demonstrating excellent electrical characteristics in limited spaces.

Samsung Electro-Mechanics Releases 150C 0201 1.0uF 4V MLCC in X8M for Automotive SSD

Four models of 0806 inch automotive compact power inductors have been released.

These products operate at temperatures up to 165°C and meet AEC-Q200 reliability standards, operating temperature (-55°C ~ 165°C), and a rated voltage of 40V.

Differentiated powder insulation coatings and enhanced bonding strength with external electrodes have been incorporated to achieve these specifications. Samples are also available.

Samsung Electro-Mechanics has expanded its coverage of 0806 inch size products by incorporating proprietary magnetic materials and a thin-film type coil structure with high-temperature characteristics.

This enables low DC resistance and high rated current, even in the 2.0×1.6mm, 1.0mm to 2.0×1.6mm, 1.2mm thickness range.
