Samsung Electro-Mechanics Extends Resonant MLCC by 1210, 22nF 1000V for OBC

Samsung Electro-Mechanics announced release of its new CLLC resonant MLCC ceramic capacitors by 22nF, 1000V product dedicated to OBC (On-Board Charger) applications.

The new MLCC capacitor offers capacitance of 22nF at a rated voltage of 1000V in compact 1210 inch (3.2×2.5mm) size package with stable C0G dielectric type in temperature range -55 to 125℃.

The CL32C223JIV1PN#, high-voltage ceramic capacitor that suits idealy with xEV (BEV, PHEV) electric vehicle applications is already in mass production. Samples are now available.

Due to the electrification and high functionality of automobiles, the number of MLCCs mounted in one vehicle has rapidly increased, and there is a constant need for miniaturization of MLCCs, high voltage stability, and higher capacitance.

Accordingly, Samsung Electro-Mechanics developed a product with 1210 inches (3.2×2.5mm) of size, C0G, and a capacitance of 22nF at a rated voltage of 1000V.
