ESA SPCD 2024 Final Program Announced

ESA ESTEC is pleased to announce the FINAL programme of the 5th edition of the SPCD 2024 Space Passive Component Days (SPCD) that will take place at ESA/ESTEC, Noordwijk, The Netherlands from 15th till 18th October 2024.

Supercapacitors: Applications in Space, Development Conducted by ESA and Challenges to Overcome

Program Overview:

  • On Tuesday 15th, an ESCC training course and a EEE passives seminar are scheduled, as a way to start warming up the engine.
  • On Wednesday 16th, in addition to the oral presentations, the day will feature a poster session, private roadmaps presentations and the Technical Introduction of Components (TICs), ending the day with a Welcome Drink.
  • Thursday 17th will not be less intense, with more oral presentations, additional TICs and an interactive panel discussion on “Advancing Space Exploration: The Role of AI Across the Entire EEE Life Cycle“. The day will end with the Gala Dinner.
  • On Friday 18th, after the oral presentations, the closure and award ceremony will put the icing on the cake to the 5th SPCD edition!
