KEMET Webinar | Solutions To Meet The New VW80808 Standard: Part 2 – Capacitors

As one of the largest auto makers in the world, Volkswagen many times sets the standard for components in that can be used in the automotive industry. Recently, they have introduced the VW80808 standard which can be thought of as similar to the AEC-Q200 standard set forth by the Automotive Engineering Council.

This is the 2nd of a two-part webinar series where Axel Schmidt, KEMET’s Senior Field Application Engineer, will look into the challenges set forth by automation engineering standardization bodies. Get a comprehensive introduction to VW80808’s scope, the most recent revision changes implemented, and the consequent impact in Ceramic and Tantalum (MnO2, Polymer) products.
