Samsung Electro-Mechanics Releases 1uF 250V X7R MLCC in 2220 Size

Samsung Electro-Mechanics has developed and commenced mass production of automotive high-voltage, high-capacitance MLCC ceramic capacitors CL55B105KEU6PN#.

The advanced product features a 2220-inch (5.7×5.0mm) size, X7R characteristics (-55 to 125℃) and meets a capacitance of 1uF at a rated voltage of 250V.

This product embodies both technical excellence and reliability, in automotive applications.

As the need to ensure stable performance under high-power, high-voltage and extreme environmental conditions such as in Body Controllers, EPS (Electric Power Steering), and OBC (On-Board Chargers) grows, so does the demand for high-reliability multilayer ceramic capacitors.

Samsung Electro-Mechanics has leveraged proprietary ceramic and electrode material micronization techniques, alongside ultra-precise stacking technology, to expand its portfolio of high-voltage, high-capacitance products. The company is committed to continuously advancing the development of high-reliability components to address the growing demand for dependable automotive parts.

Application Example: Automotive LDC (Low-Voltage DC/DC Converter)

The increased charging power of low-voltage batteries has led to higher power requirements for Low Voltage DC/DC Converters, driving the demand for enhanced reliability of MLCCs.

In response, Samsung Electro-Mechanics is expanding and supplying a lineup of high-voltage, high-capacitance products that meet the power safety and durability requirements of battery lines.
