YAGEO Releases High Current SMD Common Mode Choke With Shape Core Construction

YAGEO Group continues its expansion of the catalogue common mode choke with ER19 shape core, PGC6895NLT.

Using our flat coil winding technology, vertically mounted in a planar core, PGC6895NLT offers one high current (up to 25A) CMC products in the market in surface mount packages with compact size.

This part offers inductances 225µH in the ER19 platform, which can expand the different inductance value based on customer’s requirement, having a compact size with footprint 19.8 x 13.6mm.

Common choke is used widely for the filter, PGC6895NLT would be used on the DC/DC power lines, can reduce the noise from 100khz to 500Mhz, greater than 1000 Ohms impedance and 500 V isolation between windings. It can suppress common mode noise up to 500 MHz in a compact size. Compared with toroid core solution, inductance/impedance value is easily adjustable with the gap core.
