This release includes a new varactor non-linear diode model for MicroChip. This model is substrate scalable and is validated up to 67 GHz. Modelithics non-linear diode models cover varactor, SRD, Schottky and PIN diodes of a variety of package sizes. The equivalent circuit models are extracted from precision DC-IV, capacitance, and S-parameter measurements. The models also offer features such as substrate scaling, bias dependence, and temperature scaling, and are validated over frequencies up to 125GHz.

In addition, this release includes new Microwave Global Models™ for International Manufacturing Services (IMS) resistors for the NDX-0402WA, ND3-0402PA, and NDX-0505WA series, which are validated from 30-50 GHz. Models for four Murata capacitors families for GJM022, GQM033, GJM033 and GQM1555 as well as five Murata inductor series for LQP02HV, LQP02HQ, LQP02TN, LQP03HQ, LQW15AN- 80D and the Kyocera-AVX 520L and 530L capacitors series have been added in this release. Each of these models are all part value scalable and substrate scalable and validated from 50-67 GHz. In addition, new capacitor series have been included for Kemet and Syfer by Knowles, which are validated from 30-67 GHz.

Modelithics Microwave Global Models include many advanced model features including Part Value Scaling, Substrate & Pad Scaling, Orientation Selectable and more! These models can cover a full range of part values from a manufacturer component series within one model.  The Microwave Global Models are also available within the Modelithics mmWave & 5G Library. All models within the mmWave & 5G Library are validated at a minimum of 30 GHz with some as high as 125 GHz.

Through the Modelithics Vendor Partner (MVP) program, FREE 90-day use of Modelithics models for Sponsoring MVPs, including IMS, Kyocera-AVX, Knowles and Kemet are available.
