Rubycon Unveils Chip Aluminum Capacitors with Industry Leading Lifetime

Rubycon has developed the TYV series of wet type chip aluminum electrolytic capacitors, achieving industry top lifetime specification for applications targeting devices requiring high reliability.

The TYV series maintain industry best capacitance and ESR performance while achieving an extremely long-life of 8,000 hours at max temperature.

Current industry standard is in the 1,000-5,000-hour range. This is achieved by utilization of high-performance electrolyte and foil and the utilization of a new sealing material/method and production processes developed by Rubycon’s in house machinery division.
