Electronics Supply Chain Weekly Digest 7-24-26.
DATAPOINT OF THE WEEK: June new car registrations in Europe totaled 1.41M, surpassing the 1M mark for fourth straight month, increasing 17.1% Y/Y and 22.1% M/M, according to ACEA data.
BEVs maintained strong growth in June, reaching 360k registrations, up 88.2% Y/Y and 34.5% M/M, accounting for 25.6% of the market in June, up 9.4 percentage points Y/Y.
PHEVs also saw significant Y/Y growth, rising 23.3%. HEVs increased 17.1% Y/Y and 19.5% M/M. HEVs account for 34.7% of the market, which is flat Y/Y. ICE registrations declined 13.1% Y/Y, but increased 17.1% M/M in June, marking its 26th straight month of Y/Y declines.
