Bourns new automotive grade, AEC-Q200 compliant high current common mode inductor chokes provide effective EMI suppression and noise filtering solutions for power line and automotive system applications.
Bourns, Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of electronic components for power, protection, and sensing solutions, today released two new high current common mode choke models, the SRF1206A-501Y and SRF1206A-172Y.
Designed to provide more impedance and current options for designers, these models are an extension of Bourns® AEC-Q200 compliant, automotive grade SRF1206A Series.
These chokes offer high impedance over a broad frequency range to provide an effective EMI suppression and noise filtering solution for in-vehicle switch-mode power supplies in addition to other automotive, consumer and industrial systems.
These two new common mode choke models feature a monolithic ferrite core with a closed-loop magnetic path, offering excellent magnetic shielding performance. They are constructed with a sector-wound configuration that helps enhance dielectric strength between windings. The impedance range of these two models extends from 500 to 1700 ohms (Ω), with current ratings up to 10 A and an operating temperature range from -40 to +125 °C.
The Bourns® SRF1206A-501Y and SRF1206A-172Y automotive grade, AEC-Q200 compliant common mode chokes are available now through Bourns’ authorized distribution partners, and are RoHS compliant and halogen free.
