DigiKey significantly expanded its in‑stock portfolio in Q1 2026, adding tens of thousands of new stocking parts and nearly one hundred new suppliers to support faster prototyping and time-to-market.

DigiKey strengthens in‑stock line card in Q1 2026

DigiKey expanded its in‑stock line card in Q1 2026 with nearly 31,000 new stocking products available for fast shipment. The company added more than 387,000 new products to its system in total during the quarter, alongside 97 new suppliers spanning its core business, Marketplace, and Fulfilled by DigiKey programs. This growth further reinforces DigiKey’s position as a global distribution leader in electronic components and automation products with a strong focus on immediate availability.

Focus on availability and fast shipment

DigiKey continues to invest in a substantial inventory pipeline and in-stock product availability to support engineers, designers, makers, and procurement teams. The expanded portfolio enables customers to order prototype quantities for fast shipping, helping them avoid factory lead times and minimum order quantities. This approach is particularly valuable in early-stage design, fast iteration, and time-critical projects where access to the latest components can make a decisive difference.

New suppliers added in Q1 2026

DigiKey welcomed 97 new suppliers in Q1 2026, further broadening its coverage across embedded, IoT, robotics, power, test, and industrial solutions. Among the newly added suppliers are:

Grinn and REV Robotics

Grinn is a full‑cycle technology company focused on advanced IoT and embedded solutions, including system‑on‑modules for connected devices and edge computing. Their offering helps design teams accelerate development of connected products by combining hardware, firmware, and integration support.

REV Robotics designs and manufactures high‑quality robotics technology tailored for builders, students, educators, and hobbyists. Its product lines support educational robotics competitions and STEM programs, enabling learners to move from basic experimentation to more advanced autonomous systems on a common hardware platform.

Highlights of new product introductions (NPIs)

DigiKey continues to lead in new product introductions, stocking more NPIs on its shelves than any other electronics distributor. These NPIs help customers advance designs in areas such as healthcare, AI, energy, industrial automation, sustainability, and IoT. Selected highlights from Q1 2026 include:

FPGA and vision AI development platforms

Microchip’s veryVerilog mini FPGA kit, developed in collaboration with DigiKey’s Academic Program, targets university and college students entering embedded systems and digital logic design. The kit provides an accessible entry point to FPGA development, combining hands‑on hardware with educational resources to shorten the learning curve.

Advantech’s AFE‑R360DVK ready‑to‑use vision AI development kits are designed to fast‑track vision‑based robotics, autonomous machines, and AI perception applications. These kits integrate compute, imaging, and software to help engineers prototype and deploy machine vision and AI workloads more quickly in industrial and edge environments.

Power, relay, and DC/DC design solutions

DigiKey’s Q1 additions also include key building blocks for power conversion and switching in demanding industrial and energy applications. Designers gain more options to balance efficiency, reliability, size, and cost in their power architectures.

High‑power relays and discrete power portfolio

Omron’s G9KD PCB high‑power 1,500 VDC relays address applications that require safe, high‑voltage switching on compact boards. An optional 1b auxiliary contact enables monitoring of contact status and potential failure, supporting functional safety and predictive maintenance strategies.

RECOM’s discrete power portfolio pairs power ICs with pre‑tested SMD transformers to complement its existing modular power supplies. This combination gives engineers greater design control over low‑power DC/DC stages, helping them optimize bill‑of‑materials cost, efficiency, and layout while still benefiting from proven magnetics.

Digital, mixed‑signal, and sensing front ends

The expanded DigiKey portfolio also strengthens mixed‑signal capture and signal conditioning options for precision measurement and embedded test. This supports applications from lab instrumentation to high‑performance industrial data acquisition.

Mixed‑signal oscilloscopes and high‑speed SAR ADCs

Digilent’s Analog Discovery Pro 2440 and 2450 mixed‑signal oscilloscopes offer four analog channels with bandwidths up to 100 MHz or 200 MHz at either 12‑bit or 8‑bit resolution. These instruments combine logic analysis and waveform generation in a compact format, making them attractive for both bench and field use in education, R&D, and troubleshooting.

Analog Devices’ AD408x SAR ADC family features Easy Drive inputs and is available in 16‑bit and 20‑bit variants, with sampling rates up to 20 MSPS and 40 MSPS respectively. The devices are designed for high‑speed, high‑resolution acquisition with simplified driver requirements, helping designers achieve precision performance without complex front‑end buffering.

FPGA, connectivity, and building‑block platforms

DigiKey’s Q1 2026 NPIs also include platforms that simplify low‑density FPGA design, large‑scale wireless networking, and rapid prototyping of electronic systems. These solutions help reduce barriers for both professionals and advanced makers.

ForgeFPGA, Wi‑SUN networking, and smart building blocks

Renesas ForgeFPGA solutions provide programming, emulation, and testing support for the ForgeFPGA integrated circuit families. They target low‑density FPGA use cases where designers seek flexible logic at very low power and cost, with toolchains streamlined for quick adoption.

Digi’s Wi‑SUN solutions combine Wi‑SUN modules, a remote manager, and a router to enable complete mesh networks for smart cities, utilities, and industrial IoT. This framework allows customers to build scalable, secure field networks for applications such as smart metering, lighting, and infrastructure monitoring.

GHI Electronics’ DUELink smart electronic building blocks are aimed at making physical computing fast and accessible for engineers, makers, and educators. By offering modular hardware that integrates easily with popular development environments, DUELink enables rapid experimentation with sensors, actuators, and connectivity.

Supporting engineers and procurement teams worldwide

With more than 18 million components from nearly 3,000 manufacturers available for immediate shipment, DigiKey continues to position itself as a one‑stop source for electronic components and automation products. The combination of deep in‑stock inventory, new suppliers, and a strong NPI pipeline allows customers to move from concept to production with fewer supply‑chain obstacles. Engineers, designers, builders, and buyers also benefit from DigiKey’s digital tools, design resources, and streamlined purchasing workflows, which are tightly integrated with its online platform.
