binder’s advanced shielding concept ensures a completely closed 360° shield, effectively minimizing electromagnetic interference. This innovation guarantees secure, uninterrupted signal transmission in demanding industrial settings. The connectors boast a robust, industry-grade design, offering high vibration resistance for maximum operational reliability under continuous load.

Compact Design for Flexible Integration

The compact M8 connectors are ideal for installations with limited space, commonly found in robotics, mechanical engineering, and measurement and testing technology. Their small size facilitates the efficient and space-saving realization of complex sensor-actuator networks. Available with 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8 pins, and customizable cable lengths, these connectors are fully compatible with standard M8 interfaces according to IEC 61076-2-104. The redesigned 360° shielded M8 female cable connector features a modern, functional design with a flat surface that prevents dust and dirt accumulation, offering a significant advantage for applications requiring high cleanliness and maintenance.

Proven Concept, Trusted Quality

“With the redesigned 360° shielded M8 female cable connector and the 360° shielded M8 male cable connector, we offer our customers our best shielding concept for interference-free signal transmission,” stated Mr. Werner, Product Manager at binder. “The new design and shielding concept have already proven successful in our M8 data connectors featuring D-coding and have been used for years. I am convinced that the future of our electromechanical circular connectors in automation will be data-driven, hybrid, and smart – and that shielded versions will play an increasingly important role,” he emphasized.

Robust, Durable, and Versatile

binder’s M8 connectors are engineered for harsh industrial environments, featuring IP67 protection against dust, moisture, and vibrations. Various flange socket and plug versions facilitate easy integration into existing systems. This new product family covers a wide range of applications, from manufacturing and automation technology to robotics, compact drive units, and sensitive measurement systems.

Conclusion – Efficient Connection Technology for Modern Industrial Applications

With the new 360° shielded M8 female and male cable connectors, binder enhances its portfolio with a compact, robust, and EMC-optimized solution for industrial signal transmission. The well-engineered shielding concept, combined with the new design and high flexibility, ensures maximum reliability, cleanliness, and durability wherever secure connections are essential.
