Bourns Releases New High Current Shielded Power Inductors

Bourns adds 12 new high current model series to its shielded power inductor line. Manufactured with advanced powder cores, the new series provides high saturation/high heating current, low buzz noise and low magnetic field radiation.

Bourns, Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of electronic components for power, protection, and sensing solutions, today announced the addition of 12 new high current model series to its shielded power inductor line.

The Bourns® Model SRP1038CC, SRP1245CC, SRP1265CC, SRP1770CC, SRP2313CC, SRP3012CC, SRP3020CC, SRP4012CC, SRP4020CC, SRP5020CC, SRP5030CC, and SRP7028CC Series power inductors are manufactured to provide engineers with distinct design advantages through either a carbonyl powder core or a metal alloy powder core, shielded construction to provide high saturation and high heating current, low buzz noise and low magnetic field radiation.

The 12 shielded power inductor series are designed to meet the high current density and increased inductor reliability requirements now present in a growing number of power electronics designs. This increased reliability, along with the series’ extended operating temperature range of -40 to +125 °C and multiple footprints, make these inductors ideal power choke solutions for DC-DC converters and power supplies in consumer, industrial and telecom applications. All 12 of the new high current shielded power inductor series are available now and are RoHS compliant and halogen free.
