DMASS Reports Europe Components Up 9.8% in Q4 2025

DMASS Europe reports a strong recovery in the European electronic components market for Q4 2025. Total sales reached 3.77 billion Euro, up 9.8% from the previous year, signaling renewed momentum after stagnation.

Q4 Key Highlights

Semiconductors posted sales of 2.30 billion Euro, increasing 7.7% year-on-year. Interconnect, Passive, and Electromechanical components rose 13.3% to 1.47 billion Euro. This marks a 6.9% gain in the second half of 2025, though full-year revenues of 15.2 billion Euro remain 3.3% below 2024.

Chairman’s Perspective

Hermann Reiter, Chairman of DMASS Europe, stated: “After a long period of stagnation, the market is regaining momentum. Despite ongoing uncertainties, the European components market is clearly finding its way back to growth.” He highlighted the turnaround while noting persistent geopolitical risks and supply chain vulnerabilities.

Semiconductors Performance

Sales strengthened to 2.30 billion Euro in Q4, up 7.7%. Strong growth came from Turkey (+29.1%), Germany (+14.4%), Benelux (+13.3%), and the UK (+13.3%). Declines persisted in Switzerland (-16.9%), Ireland (-15.8%), Iberia (-5.8%), and France (-1.5%).

Product leaders included Standard Logic (+61.7%), Other Logic (+40.2%), Memory (+34.5%), and Sensors & Actuators (+21.7%). Programmable Logic (-27.9%) and OPTO (-6.9%) lagged.

IP&E Segment Strength

The Interconnect, Passive, and Electromechanical sector hit 1.47 billion Euro, up 13.3%. Turkey (+32.5%), Eastern Europe (+21.5%), and Benelux (+15.0%) drove gains. France (+6.6%), Austria (+8.7%), and Switzerland (+9.5%) showed moderate increases.

Passives surged 16.2%, Electromechanical 12.8%. Batteries and Accumulators fell 13.2%, while Power Supplies grew 4.9% and AC/DC Converters 2.2%.

Regional and Outlook Insights

Growth varied across Europe, reflecting diverse industrial demands. Reiter emphasized Europe’s steady industrial base, longer product lifecycles, and resilience amid AI disruptions, raw material volatility, and aerospace demand. Outlook for 2026 shows promise but fragility due to US-China tensions.

DMASS represents about 85% of the European components distribution market.
