Bourns Custom Magnetics Product Line is introducing its Model BA60951CS Low Profile Flyback Transformer ready EV vehicle applications. This transformer is automotive grade, AEC-Q200 compliant and manufactured on a fully automated production line.
The Model BA60951CS transformer is designed with a minimum 8 mm creepage distance for an 800V working voltage which is ideal for new electric vehicle (EV) applications that require high isolation voltage.
The low profile SMT package (2.9 mm x 2.4 mm x 1.1 mm) offers a small footprint for this large working voltage. Typical automotive applications include powering Battery Management Systems and isolated power across separate voltage systems in hybrid vehicles.
Bourns® Model BA60951CS is designed for a switching frequency of 250 kHz and provides an output power of 2.25 watts. This transformer can be used with many flyback controller ICs and can be customized for other output voltages and applications.
