Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has developed the GCM21BC71E106ME36 multilayer ceramic capacitor which has a maximum capacitance of 10uF with a 2012M size and 25V rating for 12V line smoothing applications in automobiles. We started mass-producing this product in February 2021.
The spread of self-driving systems and electric vehicles has led to the advance of electrification in recent years. Along with this, the number of multilayer ceramic capacitors installed in one automobile has been rapidly increasing. These factors have led to a need for the downsizing of components, the expansion of capacitances and higher safety.
