Würth Elektronik eiSos joins STMicroelectronics Partner Program to one common goal: success for their customer!

Waldenburg (Germany), 15 March 2018 – Würth Elektronik eiSos, manufacturer of electronic and electromechanical components, has joined the partner program of STMicroelectronics. The goal of the initiative set up by ST, a global semiconductor leader serving customers across the spectrum of electronics applications, is to speed customer development efforts by identifying and highlighting companies with complementary products and services. Würth Elektronik’s participation in the program builds on the relationship that exists for many years between the two companies.

The semiconductor supplier’s customers can now use the ST Partner Prog­ram to find the products and services they need for their operations. It includes, for example, many products made by Würth Elektronik eiSos, for instance storage chokes and filters included as components in ST reference designs which have been fully tested and can be used directly in other projects.

“We’ve been working together with ST for many years now. Joining the Partner Program takes our collaboration up to an en­tirely new level – and we couldn’t be more satisfied. Together we will push new technologies to the market and bring full solutions to our customers,” says Benjamin Benchimol, Division Man­ager Strategic Partnerships at Würth Elektronik eiSos. “We’re easier to find for ST customers, who can now get a faster solution to their design challenges.”

Shortening the time to market

“Würth Elektronik eiSos have always placed special emphasis on providing support to our cus­to­mers, shortening their time to market. We assist our customers to ensure that our components are used in the optimal way, and the reference designs help the developers to save their valuable time. The custo­mers can use tried and tested solutions which shorten the development time it takes them to deliver their prototypes and end products,” adds Dheeraj Jain, Division Manager, Global Product Definition Engineering at Würth Elektronik eiSos.

By identifying and making customers aware of ST-Partner companies with complementary products and services, and adding a certification process that assures that all partners are periodically vetted for quality and competence, the ST Partner Program accelerates design and product development and shrinks time-to-market for new products.
