Bourns Announces New High Temperature PPTC Resettable Fuses

The Bourns Multifuse Product Line is pleased to announce the release of the new Model MF-RHS High Temperature Radial Leaded Polymer Positive Temperature Coefficient (PPTC) Resettable Fuse Series.

The new series includes Ihold current ratings from 3.5 A to 13.0 A at 16 V maximum rated voltage, 100 A maximum rated current and a maximum operating temperature up to 125 °C.

Bourns Releases Automotive 1W Flyback Transformer

The addition of the new Model MF-RHS Series provides a broader high temperature PPTC offering for applications with high working temperature and high-power rating requirements – particularly in motor and
industrial applications.

The new Model MF-RHS Series utilizes Bourns’ innovative design that increases the performance of the resettable fuse with:

  • Higher hold current ratings (Ihold)
  • Improved resistance stability
  • Higher maximum current ratings (Imax)
  • Smaller PPTC chip size

The new Model MF-RHS Multifuse® PPTC Series products are RoHS compliant, halogen free and are produced in one of Bourns’ IATF 16949 certified facilities.

  • Low thermal derating factor
