SHLR 4-2321, 3825, 3825H are claimed to be industry’s first such devices to combine resistance down to 0.001Ω, a coefficient of ±2ppm/K, and power rating up to 50W.
Ratings vary from 3W in free air to 50W on a heatsink, resistance is 1-5mΩ, with tolerance to ±0.1%.
Offering load stability to 0.1% for up to 2,000 hours, the resistors are aimed at current measurement in industrial instrumentation, battery management, smart energy grids, solar inverters and wind inverters.
“SHLR series achieves temperature coefficient in the working range of +20°C to +60°C thanks to technology based on CuMnSn metal foil,” said Powertron. “Its nearly flat TCR curve will help engineers to design more precise equipment or to upgrade existing systems.”
Other parameters are:
- up to 150A
- low inductance
- <1μV/K thermal EMF
- down to 1.6K/W thermal resistance
- -40°C to +130° operatio
- anodised aluminium package
- RoHS-compliant
- Pb-free
