Bourns announces rugged, high-power thick film resistor series housed in a TO-247 package.
The Riedon™ PF2472 Series power resistors by Bourns deliver excellent thermal efficiency/high power capabilities from 100 W of heat-sinked power and up to 700 V operating voltage
Bourns, Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of electronic components for power, protection, and sensing solutions, today announced its Riedon™ PF2472 Series Power Resistors by Bourns.
Housed in a compact TO-247 package, this rugged, high-power thick film resistor family delivers 100 W of heat-sinked power and up to 700 V operating voltage, providing excellent thermal efficiency and in-demand high-power capabilities.
It utilizes thick film technology, offering a high-reliability, compact and cost-effective solution for current limiting, current measurement, snubber circuits and capacitor discharge functions in industrial motor drives, power conversion and battery energy storage systems.
The Riedon™ PF2472 Series by Bourns features ultra-low inductance (<50 nH) and exceptional pulse handling, all with a precise ±1 percent tolerance across a wide resistance range from 0.1 ohms to 20k ohms. Of particular importance in many of today’s high-power density electronics, superior power dissipation is delivered in a single space-saving package that provides essential high-heat tolerance.
